Goodbye to the Christensens

We were and are still so so sad that our Christensen counsins have moved to Michigan. We were so happy to be able to spend the last two years with them. Our kids have played nonstop together and so have the moms and dads. We love the Christensens. We spent every last moment with them before they left. Here are a few pictures from the last few times we got together before they moved in June.


We had one last get together at our house with the Hasler cousins and Christensens to say goodbye. It was so hard to let them go.

We spent an afternoon at a park by the Christensen's grandma's house. There happened to be a group of teenagers who set up a GIGANTIC slip n' slide on the grass. Rebekah was so interested in what they were doing. She sat and watched them go down over and over again. The teenagers offered to let the kids go down. Liz and I debated. That meant a huge mess with six kids, no swim suits, or towels, but yes a ton of fun. We finally concluded that we would be the most awesome moms ever if we let our kids go down the slip n' slide fully clothed and off they went. And yes they did have an amazing time! We are awesome mom's.
