Turkey Day

Okay so apparently I don't have too many pictures of this trip. We went to Colorado this year for Thanksgiving. I had not been home for a few years so it was nice to get back to good ole Colorado. My parents moved into a new home since I had been there last so it was A LOT of fun to see their beautiful new home. We loved visiting them. We scheduled out a whole week to visit and we played a lot. My sister, Rachael, and her family flew in from Oregon and joined in on the fun too.

We took the kids to a few fun kids places in town. One of which is Mr. Biggs where the kids played and played. The best room was a room filled with hundreds of foam balls and we just stayed in there throwing balls at each other for a good long while. Who knew Papa had such great aim with the foam ball cannon. Even the little guys had fun throwing and playing with the balls. We of course went out for Korean food (Glenn served his mission in Korea so my Dad loves to take us for Korean food when he can), which was delicious. It as fun to have Rach there to experience the food with us. Thankfully we got a babysitter so we could enjoy it a little better. We made lots of yummy food (for Thanksgiving) and ate way too much peppermint bark while watching movies and staying up late and gabbing.

Thanksgiving Day was delicious! It was a lot easier when we had each person making 1-2 things and viola we were done with cooking. The kids got out and played a little and the hubbies too. We made cute little place settings and hats and then we enjoyed our lovely turkey dinner.

Glenn and I left the day after Thanksgiving, but Mom and Rach were awesome and planned a little birthday party for Rebekah right before we left. Rebekah felt so special and had a lot of fun celebrating with her cousins. We also took some cute family pictures, which will be coming soon.
This year was a good one! Thanks Mom and Dad for letting us visit.

I love the TG hats and the fact that Rebekah's party was with all her cousins and family. How fun! :)
