The stage where they sleep so much!
Isn't that first week of the baby's life so unique? Nothing is normal and no one sleeps well. But each night when all is settled you get to sit and snuggle with the sweetest little person ever wishing this stage would never end. Here are a few pictures of Dallin exactly one week after his birth.
Check out those skinny little legs. gotta fatten those babies up.
Yes, he does open his eyes sometimes.
Dallin has too little fingers on his left hand that did not seperate. They just have a thin layer of skin that hold them together. His fingers are still formed perfectly. Infact no one even noticed while we were in the hospital. It was not until the next day when i was examining every little inch of his body, like mothers do, did I notice. It looks perfect from the top, but then the inside of the hand is fused. It is a little unusal to have that happen in the hands, but it is not serious. We see a hand surgeon in late October to discuss surgery. It will most likely happen sometime between 6 and 9 months.
